Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before renting a vehicle through the Fleetzy platform.

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Renter") and Houston Fleet Holdings LLC, doing business as Fleetzy ("Fleetzy," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your use of Fleetzy's vehicle rental services and platform.

By submitting a rental application, executing a rental agreement, or using any Fleetzy vehicle, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use Fleetzy's services.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a Fleetzy rental, you must meet all of the following at the time of application and throughout the rental period:

Fleetzy reserves the right to deny any application at its sole discretion.

Rental Agreement & Payments

Weekly Rental Rate

Standard rates are $400/week for individual rentals. Corporate rates may differ as agreed in writing.

Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit of $500 is required prior to vehicle delivery. Returned within 7 business days of satisfactory vehicle return, less any outstanding charges.

Payment Due Dates

Weekly rental payments are due on the same day of the week as your rental start date, by 11:59 PM.

Accepted Payment Methods

Stripe (credit/debit), Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, and PayPal. Proof of payment may be required. Cash is not accepted.

Insurance & Liability

Important Insurance Notice: Rideshare and delivery platform insurance (Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, etc.) covers third parties and passengers only — it does NOT provide physical damage coverage for the Fleetzy vehicle. Renter is responsible for any physical damage to the vehicle not covered by an applicable insurance policy.

Fleetzy is not liable for personal property left in the vehicle or for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of a rented vehicle.

GPS Tracking & Remote Immobilization

All Fleetzy vehicles are equipped with GPS tracking. By renting a vehicle, you expressly consent to real-time location tracking and recording of mileage, speed, and movement history.

Remote Immobilization: Fleetzy vehicles may be equipped with a remote ignition disable ("killswitch") feature. Fleetzy reserves the right to remotely immobilize a vehicle in the event of: (a) non-payment exceeding 7 days, (b) suspected theft or unauthorized use, (c) the vehicle being taken outside the approved geographic area, or (d) any other material breach of this agreement.

Tampering with, disabling, or removing the GPS device is a material breach of this agreement and may result in immediate termination, forfeiture of deposit, and legal action.

SMS Communications Consent

By providing your phone number in your rental application, you consent to receive SMS communications from Fleetzy related to your rental account, including payment reminders, rental status updates, maintenance alerts, and account notifications.

Message frequency varies based on your rental activity, typically 1–5 messages per week. Message and data rates may apply.

Termination & Vehicle Return

Either party may terminate with 7 days' written notice. Fleetzy may terminate immediately for material breach including non-payment, vehicle misuse, or suspected criminal activity.

Upon termination, the vehicle must be returned to the agreed location, with the same fuel level, clean, and in the same condition as delivered. Failure to return within 24 hours of termination notice may be treated as theft and reported to law enforcement.

Damage, Accidents & Fees

Renter must notify Fleetzy within 2 hours of any accident or vehicle damage, regardless of fault.

Dispute Resolution

Disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted in Houston, Texas. Both parties waive the right to a jury trial and agree not to participate in class action litigation against Fleetzy.

Limitation of Liability

Fleetzy's total liability shall not exceed the total rental fees paid in the 30 days preceding the claim. Fleetzy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any legal proceedings not subject to arbitration shall be conducted exclusively in Harris County, Texas.
